Chameleon Choir

About the Chameleon Choir

Chameleon Choir was formed in 2011 and our name reflects the eclectic styles of music we perform. Our members cover all four voices (SATB) and include a wide range of ages from young adults to not-so-young! We sing music to a high standard in the local area, performing 2-3 of our own concerts each year and also at other events raising money to support local charities. These include entertaining Variety Nights, Summer and Christmas Concerts, sometimes joined by the Myforte Youth Choir and Special Guests.

Our Musical Director is Mezzo-Soprano Nicola Hunt.  Born in Liverpool, she began her musical journey at the Junior RAM and Chetham’s School of Music, continuing her studies at the RNCM, supported by the Peter Moores Foundation and the Wall Trust. Nicola is privileged to be Musical Director of several adult and children’s choirs throughout the East Midlands, but Chameleon is her only SATB choir. For more information see the news story about her appointment.
